What was L. Rippy eating anyway, Bar-B-Q and grits? And was that 4 on the sill of the greenhouse a reminder of ID? Adam certainly has a "magic touch" in the greenhouse.

ID-4! >:-P

Methinks we found someone to finally make Pat and the Kefla-saurus THINK. *giggle* Ah heck, any excuse to watch more of The Visitor.... ;-)

Sheesh.... I was thinking of the other kind of "ID." Too much shorthand sometimes, I guess. ;o)

Okay, so what was on the sill in the greenhouse besides plants and pots? I just watched the scene and still don't know what Will is referring to.

I don't know what they did in Pilot, but the print has too much contrast in places. The bright white areas are really noticeable in the greenhouse and outside in the snow. It's kinda distracting.

Fresh meat yourselves. Seeing it on TV is a much better picture. *tried* to see it all, but was interrupted several times. Hay truck came and had to unload 110 bales, and took my youngun' to violin practice, which I'm proud to say he's doing quite well and improving nicely (priorities, you know) I think he's got "Onward Christian soldiers" down pat. No offense, AP bwahaha. Sher, have you heard Rapid Roy (the stock car boy) by Jim Croce? And who was that Darth Vadar looking dude when Adam de-masked him? I know I've seen him somewhere (the claw??) ;-)

Will, "Darth Vader," aka "The Hunter," aka "Michael O'Ryan," is ADAM BALDWIN. :o) Devlin and Baldwin go WAY back to the film MY BODYGUARD. But you would likely know him best from INDEPENDENCE DAY.

Or, Will, you may have noticed Adam Baldwin in The Patriot. He was the colonist soldier who was so intent upon impressing Tavington with his loyalty to the Crown.

Adam (mankind) Baldwin!!!! OMG. He was also in THE PATRIOT! How exellently he played the British soldier! Where exactly in INDEPENDENCE DAY was he? That is so cool. And he can ride!

Can I presume from this that Pat hasn't yet seen The Patriot? >:-P

No you cannot, Sheri :] Where do you think we got all those luscious screen caps for the Patriot image gallery? :]

btw, Will, Adam was the army guy who led the Pres down to see Dr. Okun.

Thanks Mark, I've yet to find those eggs in the DVD. Shame upon me.I'll have to watch it again! Speaking of images, and perhaps this should go in the "to the filmmakers" thread, but tell me (back to VISITOR) there wasn't a Richard Dreyfuss(JAWS) look-alike in the scene with Dr. Burton and Cornelius.I sure thought so. And another, how is that blue effect achieved in certain shots in Visitor and Patriot, filters, actual blue lights with fog?????? Pat, the 4 wasn't actually *on* the sill, sorry, I should have clarified, but written on the framework behind Adam.

To answer a couple of questions, it looked to me like Van Patten was eating a hamburger, and possibly fries at the cafe in the Pilot. He removed a round top bun and speared the patty with a fork, holding it up for inspection.

And, YES, there was a 4 imprinted in a horizontal wooden beam in the greenhouse. It was visible just to the right and above MacArthur's head. The thing that mystifies me, is not what the number could mean, but rather . . . . . Will! The Visitor is uttering some of the most intriguing lines of the show in that scene. How did your eyes ever stray to the wooden beam? *** grumble, grumble ***

Aw, just kidding. ;-) Managed to re-watch every episode of the marathon this weekend and had a great time with it.

Yes, Kefla I think it was a burger, I had heard Van Patten (L.R.) is from the south somewhere, and BBQ and grits is some of the "fine rural cuisine" around here. Don't grumble too much, the dialog in the greenhouse was so intriguing, I re-watched it and the id4 stuck out like a green thumb lol

Oops, sorry Will. I missed your joke, then, about the "fine rural cuisine". I've been hanging out in the southwest too long. And, yes! I'll never again watch the greenhouse scene without noting the "4", LOL!

Thanks Mr.Mark, that LaRue is interesting, n'est pas? Kefla, I need to re-hash these stories. If there's ever any continuation, see if you can talk Adam into creating 48 hr. days (with a few 20 minute naps) Now that would be Electric!

I hear ya, Will. Not enough hours in the day. Just "give it more time". This is a long, complex story - it'll be around when you have leisure. :-)

I'm trying to extend the story a little. Shared some of the new plot with my partner - who has lived with my interest in the show over the past several years. Even he was remarking about how complicated things can become. ;-)
