The first episode of The Visitor will be broadcast on the Sci Fi Channel tomorrow morning - Sunday, at 10 am EST.

Wahoo! Looks like Visitor will be seen on Sunday mornings for the foreseeable future.

I hope some of you saw Pilot yesterday. No more aggravating white text boxes or "in Humanland" intros. Just the Visitor episode.

This time around, I was wondering what led Nadine to slip into the ER room and approach that body bag. You'd think she would be more concerned about Tyler than a dead man, at that point, since Tyler had just run off in an agitated state. I guess Adam MacArthur had much more of an influence than we actually witnessed in earlier scenes.

Another interesting thing - Vise and Wilcox already had an adversarial relationship at their very first meeting. Leaves us wondering how they knew each other and what happened between them earlier.

About Col. Vise - sure he was a hot head. He seemed cold blooded in his approach to capturing MacArthur at the greenhouse. (We just need him). But from the look on his face, Vise appeared very much invested in the outcome while the doctor was trying to revive Adam in the hospital. There's room for some ambivalence in this character - although not much.

I found it interesting that the doctor turned back to Vise, motioning a look telling him that the patient was dead. Now why would the doctor care what Vise thought? The doctor just lost a patient in the emergency room and nods to Vise before even making note of the time of death? Strange behavior for an emergency room doctor, doncha think?

BTW, I started to wonder about the possible motives behind Sci-fi's sudden re-interest in airing "The Visitor" more than just during marathons every other month. Could the fact that Sci-fi is owned by USA Networks have anything to do with it? (Hint: USA Networks will premiere "Prancer Returns," a movie staring John Corbett, on November 20th at 8pm ET.) I dunno, it's just a shot-in-the-dark theory. ;o)

Guys, pay the above post no mind, it's here as evidence with the recorded IP address / datestamp against them putzes. They've been warned. (Contacted them)

Thanks for the warning, Sheri. Got all interested in a post about The Visitor only to find this.

Just to end on-topic, this past holiday season was spent looking at The Visitor once again. Someone gave me a DVR (I know, better late than never) and I've been busy preserving the episodes in case the TIVO hard drive dies. LOL.
It's still a great show - rather nice for viewing at holiday time, too.

K, I'm looking for a clean version of the pilot (at least recorded in two hour mode)so that I might do the same...

And yes, Sheri, once I figure it all out, I intend to send you a copy of Triangle as well...

Chris

I'm thinkin it might be a fun game to take their snippets and put together one of them twisted stories. LOL The more I delete, the more they come back, so....

Apparently, these snippets are taken from http://www.zidz.com/script_draftnov.php, which is one of the first versions of the script of BACK TO THE FUTURE from Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale, though it is very different from the final film version.

(German title: Zurück in die Zukunft, therefore ZIDZ.com )

The question is, would we eventually end up with another alternate version of the BTTF script when putting together the snippets and making it a wicked story?

hehe... I just searched for one of those sentences with Google, which produces a lot of results, especially from other boards that were hit by this spammer.

Marty opened his mouth to tell him but Professor Brown quickly held up
Marty had managed to calm himself down after the first explosion
Marty let the blueprints flip back and stared at the power onverter

Wish I did. Got any good trollbot killers kickin around? I'd ban the IP but it might block other people too, plus, the IP likely isn't reliably consistent either....

can't you view the IP? And for the record, I don't think IP's cover such a widespread area nowadays (as they did in the past, when internet usage wasn't so prolific). I'd be willing to wager you could ban his IP (all of them) and still not alienate anybody

Or we could just send someone to the Spammer's house to kick his/her backside into the day after tomorrow.
