The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced its 2002 Golden Globe Award nominations today for the year ending December 31, 2001. John Corbett received his *second* nomination in the same category - for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television. The nomination was for his role as "Aidan" in HBO's "Sex and the City." (His first nom in that category was for playing "Chris" in "Northern Exposure.")

The 59th Annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony will be broadcast live on NBC on Sunday, January 20, 2002 at 8pm, EST. Other award nominations can be found here: http://www.hfpa.org/nominations2002.html

Also, while I'm here, for those who like "Mafia-esque" crime movies, JC's "Dinner Rush" is opening tomorrow to limited theaters in the Landmark Theater chain across the country. If Landmark's webmasters are on the ball, you'll be able to get the entire list here:
http://www.landmarktheatre.com/Films/films_frameset.asp?id=27540

If they're not on the ball, I have a short list here, 3rd item down the page:
http://www.john-corbett.com/news/

Between the Golden Globes, FX's "Lucky," and Dinner Rush, my head's been spinnin' this month (but probably not more than his has been. LOL) Every time I say I belong to enough clubs, groups, mail lists, newsgroups and bulletin boards, I go and join yet another one. Somebody stop me before my head flies off. LOL!!!
