I, for one, LOVED this film. I&#39;ve got more goodies in my home from Godzilla than any other Centropolis film. Also my first DVD! I can&#39;t understand why so many folks were stuck on the old &#34;avocado&#34; Godzilla. I loved the streamlined version. What a work of art! Plus, my uncle, the man who introduced me to Godzilla, also loved the film. He has a lot of foster kids coming and going from his home. They use the video as an ice breaker. Kids love Godzilla!!!

It wasn&#39;t the movie that I didn&#39;t wanna talk about, it was the WAR. People over at Fandom/Monster Zero are STILL wingeing about how horrible G98 was. &#40;won&#39;t mention any names&#42;cough&#42;Mosugoji&#42;cough&#42;&#41; THREE YEARS LATER!<IMG SRC="http://www.electric-ent.com/bbs/clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":&#41;"> I like a lot of these guys, even those I didn&#39;t mention &#40;&#42;cough&#42;Mosugoji&#42;cough&#42;&#41 ;, but not many are as easy going as I. My own opinion on the movie? &#40;for Lee&#41; Quality wise, this one fell way short of what D&amp;E COULD have done. It was far from the worst movie I&#39;ve ever seen, but it WAS the worst D&amp;E movie I ever saw. &#40;Sorry, guys&#41; Godzilla wise, WHERE&#39;S Godzilla? There&#39;s a LOT of room for improvement in G-Films, we&#39;ll all admit that. D&amp;E Threw the Baby out with the bathwater on this one.

Like I said. I Like many of these people. I merely Mention Mosu because of a recent post he made that stands out in my mind. &#40;And what&#39;s wrong with Conster? She was always a sweety when &#42;I&#42; &#34;conversed&#34; with her..&#41; My point was, too many people still harbor grudges, however unreasonable, about that movie. I&#39;d hope to not have to read any of those here. &#40;I won&#39;t EVEN click the G98 section of Monster Zero&#39;s Board&#41; =8&#40;

GASP!! &#42;A&#42;Man! say it isn&#39;t so. Threw the baby out? No way! I thought it was great! The only thing I didn&#39;t like about Godzilla was Maria P&#39;s character. I found her annoying. Who goes monster hunting in a mini skirt and go-go boots? But that&#39;s a character and I maybe the exact statement they wanted to make... I dunno. I LOVED Jean Reno! and the whole coffee bit? Oh man! I was rolling! Jean Reno is fantastic with the action stuff. However I am biased. He could do dog food commercials and I&#39;d pay to see them. I thought Universal Soldier was icky, but only because I detest Van Damme. I think they should remake that one with a better actor.

This is still the only Godzilla movie I have seen..the rest of em are all too crappy. <IMG SRC="http://www.electric-ent.com/bbs/clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":&#41;"> I think all that can ever have been said, both good and bad, was spoken on the other board. I still wonder what would have been done if Centro finnished making the other movies, as was orriginally planned. I actually liked this movie, and can&#39;t really compare it to the one that followed, cause I didn&#39;t care to see it.
