Hey kids, just saw Stan Winston commenting on the size of a new dino in jpIII and he made a comment that the animatronic version was one of the largest ever made-which was previously said about a certain centropolis lizard flick.

So Dean, know what happened to the huge G98? Also how about some of the other props?(I'd kill for that original maquette but Tatapoulis probably has it) Please say you didn't give it to that freak Bob Burns!

Also anyone here record the g animated series? And to Dean-does sony own the rights to the re-runs?

If anyone watches AMC, on friday nights they have some kind of retro/monster movie type thing on. They often show Godzilla movies. and Stan hosts. Well, when he hosts a G movie, of all the props in the background, you can see one of the early props he made for the DeBont G movie! it has small arms, and a very G85 head...

A few years back, I asked my youngest what he wanted for an upcoming Birthday present. The one and ONLY thing he requested was "the big Godzilla". Mean, green and about 18" tall. Did he smile!

Heheh -- brings to mind what mothers do for their children. I remember after coming back from the theatre after watching Godzilla, Mom asks how it was -- I told her I had an incredible time and that I enjoyed the movie very much. Well it wasn't long before Mom would bring me Nestle Crunch bars with "Godzilla" imprinting on the bar when she'd go grocery shopping...

Then...Christmas comes... Mind you, if I recall Godzilla came out in what? May? something like that.. This was December... and "Santa" brought me this really KEWL kinda blanket (Where "Santa" got it, I have NO idea...) It's really a nice piece of work that blanket... and then she gives me this little box where I open it and it's like gum in the shape of lizard/dinosaur eggs.. Ahhh, Moms..

-=JAG!

I love AMC. While I was home sick I watched Brides of the Monster. A program about women in horror films. EXCELLENT!!!
