As an amatuer Cryptozoologist, I must say this is very exciting. What mystery!

Speaking of low frequency noises, wasn't the sound Godzilla made under the water bone chilling? It's one of the many elements I love about the movie. Brilliant.

Yep :] very whale like. (well, obviously :] (I mean the Godzilla sound).

The only thing (referring to Will's 'cephalopod' comment) is that they said cephalopods don't have any gas bladder (aka windbag) that would allow them to make any noise, n'mind such a deep, revereberating long distant noise.

Unless the Giant Squid, Archetuthus(sp?) is signifigantly different from more mundane species.
A specimen has yet to be studied..

I lean more towards the large Mammal, Reptile or Dinosauroid....

Just the G-Fan in me.

Well, I would think that if it is organic, then it must not need to breathe air...or else it is being very, very elusive, and must be highly intelligent to avoid detection when surfacing.

Unless it's a fish.

"ness" may have found her way out of the loches.

Who knows? Perhaps we have a pack of plesiosaur lurking in the waters!

There's always the Taco Bell theory...

You know, refuse from Taco Bell spills into the ocean, some deep sea whale finds it, eats it along with the krill and BOOM! (no he doesn't explode. Well, not technically anyway)...

;Þ

Maybe its the new Atlantis under construction.

If the real life Godzilla appeared, hopefully he could deflect any more of those asteroids that whiz by so close to Earth. Did you hear about that? Sheesh.
