I hope you get this message Mr. Devlin. I have actually always dreamed of telling you what I thought about the film GODZILLA that you did, and thought it was impossible until I found this site! <BR> <BR>I&#39;ll keep it short. <BR>I loved Godzilla! I have been a Godzilla fan since birth and I wasn&#39;t a bit dissapointed with Godzilla 98. <BR>I loved the new look. It kept to G&#39;s original style with the spikes, roar, and size, while being unique and different. It was Godzilla, just reborn. <BR> <BR>I don&#39;t understand when people complain about the movie and about G&#39;s new look. <BR>It was always meant for Godzilla to be as menacing and realistic as possible, something the Japanese couldn&#39;t quite capture &#40;atleast most american audiences didn&#39;t buy it&#41;. <BR> <BR>Sure, the story in it wasn&#39;t Citizen Kane, and I believe you have mentioned that you weren&#39;t completely satisfied with the script, but it was much more rich than the earlier G movies. <BR> <BR>Not to say I don&#39;t like the original movies, I love them, it&#39;s just that I love your Godzilla too. A wonderful action movie. <BR> <BR>It&#39;s filled with ground breaking visuals, so stunning, that they gave me goosebumps! And that&#39;s what I got and more. <BR>I have more memorbilia to this particular film than any other film out there! <BR> <BR>I was at a Barnes and Noble awhile back looking at comics. A fellow sci-fi fan and I got to talking about Godzilla. Godzilla 98 came up and he said &#34;I don&#39;t understand why some people didn&#39;t like that! It was awesome!&#34; <BR>&#34;I totally agree, it was great!&#34; I replied. <BR> <BR>I feel the film is very underrated. <BR> <BR>And I don&#39;t know if you hear that often. So I thought I&#39;d put my 2 cents in. <BR> <BR>You are one of the best filmmakers ever. <BR> <BR>Lance
