Yes, it does seem that AmeriGoji will have a role in the Upcoming Japanese release of GODZILLA: FINAL WARS.

I've been unable as yet to find any debunking of the following article (Several Mirrors are available for the video)
http://www.monsterzero.us/editorials/editorials.php?catID=Nws&subCatID=15&conte ntID=527

Keep in mind the Vid is a trifle blurry and the effects are only roughed in..

One can only hope it looks better after the filtering and such.

You can see him clearly enough to make out the shape and color.

Monster X/"Kaiser Ghidorah" is black & white.
"Zilla, as they're calling him is greenish brown.

Well, it's not as if I KNOW more, I just observe and state my opinion.

Only seen the "Jira" (Zilla) Character in that Vid, and then only in CGI form.

We've seen the "Monster X" character and this one is a suit.

(An "oops" is in order for the Double Post)

Like I said, there's features I like and features I don't.

I was impressed with Godzilla X Mechagodzilla and they've been improving a bit every year, so I'm looking forward.

Is "DAM" an abbreviation for something, or just something else I do not understand...? ;)

Abbreviation for movie title.

"DESTROY ALL MONSTERS" (1968, Toho)
Starring:

Godzilla
Anguirus
Mothra
Rodan
Gorosaurus
Minya
Baragon
Kumonga
Manda
Varan and
King Ghidorah

The Year is 1999 and all of earth's Surviving Monsters have been captured and relocated to a Preserve the Ogasawara Islands called "Monsterland" or "Monster Island"

Aliens take over the facillity and control of the monsters and set them loose on the world.

Brave human Astronauts destroy the Monster control equipment on the Moon and the monsters band together to destroy the Alien base under Mt. Fuji... Until the aliens call in the aid of Three headed golden space dragon King Ghidorah.

Ah, I see, thanks! This movie sounds exciting. Hopefully the new one will be, too. But does the movie title "GODZILLA: FINAL WARS" mean, this is supposed to be the last Godzilla movie?

The thing with these abbreviations is funny. Depeche Mode fans use to do that with their songs' titles, too. And although I'm supposed to know all those songs I always again have my problems to figure out the titles from the abbreviations... ;)

Yes, it is supposed to be the last one.. For Now.

Toho plans to take a break from new Godzilla movies for a while. Perhaps up to ten years.

8(

But we have heard that tune sung before.
Thye had claimed that Godzilla vs Destroyah (1995) would be the last until the 50th anniversary (2004)
But since then we've had
G2K, GXM, GMK, GXMG, GMMG and now, GFW
(Hehe, more Abbreviations)

(Please don't think I'm Forgetting or Dismissing Dean & Roland's entry, but for the purposes of this comment, I merely refer to the Toho Godzilla movies.)

*A*

Come to think of it, I never heard of Jira.

Heard of Gojira, though.. Right?

In this case..

Gojira = Godzilla, the Powerful Giant monster who has attacked Japan many times since WWII.

"Jira" = "Zilla", the creature who came ashore in New York and was mistaken for Gojira. (Or so many of the rumors say)

I highly recommend the most recent Godzilla movie released on DVD here in the states, GXMG or Godzilla against Mechagodzilla.

Interesting note, "MechaGodzilla is only called this once inthe movie and that was in jest.
The Robot's name is Kiryu, a combination of the Japanese words for Mechanical and Dragon.
