I just watched one of The Patriot kids lose a forms tournament in karate to some kid with a worse hair style than his own. <BR> <BR>When I turned the program on I thought 11 year old Helms was a little girl. TONS of bright blonde hair down his back with Prince Valiant style bangs. <BR> <BR>Nice form. I actually thought he did better than the winner. His eyes were focused whereas the other kid had his closed for much of his form. You can't find your target with your eyes closed. <BR> <BR>Ah well.

Schgzaaaaaah-Ru! No wait, that was Dune. <BR> <BR>Did my patriotic duty today and purchased The Patriot VHS for a farmer friend of mine for Independence Day. He gave me about 50 ears of silver queen corn. It is just delectable! Ever had it right off the stalk? As some say around here, swee-ut and dee-licious!

ID4 like The Patriot deserved to be seen in the theatre, but those DVD's certainly have 2nd best impact.

And another picture in the paper yesterday of Mel Gibson toting Old Glory in a scene from The Patriot. Good Morning Lowcountry was thanking the humble palmetto tree, whose soft wood absorbed the bombardment of British naval guns,hence;the palmetto tree on our state flag (as opposed to the pine tree, live oak, or loquat) <BR> Several interesting descriptive words, "potboiler" "hotbed of rebellion" <BR> <BR>Travelled to Hollywood the other day. Bwahahaha. (As in S.C.) I was given 3 loquat treelings which I'll plant as time permits. Supposedly they bear some sort of a fruit in a few years, and are an evergreen.
