Yep, me's old. Blame the theatrical release of "Tron" as that year was the pivotal point where my interest peaked in computers. I then evolved to loggin into bbs'es and then becoming a BBS sysop of StarFlight 1 (ahhh, the memories).. then the internet came in, and well, here I am. :o) <BR> <BR>JAG!'s brief computer-related history is brought to you by <A HREF="http://www.eightleggedfreaks.com" TARGET="_blank">Eight Legged Freaks</A> - crawling to theatres on July 19th, 2002. <BR> <BR>-=JAG! <BR> <BR>PS: I was also not too keen about the Eight Legged Freaks name -- but after seeing both trailers, the whole idea has caught on -- reminds me of "The Blob" and other horror type movies I grew up with. <BR> <BR>The effects look good - and fits right in with Dean mentioning in chat one day that he likes "Cheezy" stuff. :o)

Ya know....I think I'm going to write a comedy just about this sort of thing. Close Encounters. It's got the suspense and frustration of a good movie! ;-) Pat just spent a weekend in NYC and JUST missed meeting JC in person. They were THIS close to getting it arranged for them to meet up to say "hi" and all that jazz. (And he knows she exists...even expressed he's dying to meet her to say THANKS for all the hard work she's been doing on his site and promoting him) Missed out by a nose.
