I still have to see the film as it hasn't opened here yet, but I did have a question about one scene.

Sam is looking out of the window and the curtains have what looks like a cowboy/rodeo design with blue spiders[!?]. I'm not sure where the location is - maybe Taft's Farm, or more likely a child's room [Mike's?].

There could actually be spiders climbing up the curtains, but it does look like a pattern. Are cowboys and spiders a common curtain design or is it some sort of in-joke I wonder?

LOL - I personally never seen that on curtauns, then again, I don't pay curtains much attention.

No its not a common pattern that I've seen- I noticed that, but was it on curtains, a poster, or a calendar? Whatever, I liked it, reminded me of Pecos Bill, - who knows, maybe it'll end up cast signed and on ebay!

It's a set of curtains. LOL, I had thought that would be an unusual design - even for America I'll see if I can post a pic of it.

Kewl! Post it! It is very unusual, or at least rare this side of the Mississippi. But then again, horses have been here much longer than we peoples. I've seen a rock that had little impressions in it and was told it was from an Eohippus horse. They were small little tracks, maybe 1.5 inches across.

I will, Will!
Actually, there's a clever teaser for 8LF out at the moment. The voiceover says "If you only see one mutatated spider movie this summer... you'll be missing a treat". You then see the silhouette of a certain superhero framed against the moon before he promptly gets taken out by a giant spider!
Apparently, Johnson & Johnson is getting ready to film a theatre commercial for their Mortein bug surface spray with ELF in mind. Interesting twist to end the 8LFs, though.

I have it! It's an old pattern from the 50's, and the spiders must've been painted on. Just imagine an older "Is that you, Bob?" grandpa type sitting in his easy chair watching John Wayne movies with those curtains in the windows.
