Methinks somebody copied and pasted the writeup from MS Word or some such program, and that was a special character (like a tab setting or such) that didn't translate well into HTML. <BR> <BR>Now ya know why I don't like WYSIWYG webpage editors? ;)

What are you talking about ? The press release from the new movie : "Cyber-love " ? <BR>I could read the press release at electric-ent- very well and it sounds funny that Mr. Emmerich now will direct a movie about cyberspace love, when he even wasn´t touching a PC since now. <BR>But it gives me hope, that in recherching for the movie he shows up maybe sometime on the board (messageboard not surfboard ! ) to say "Hello" and trying a bit of cyberlove from you all ! <BR> <BR>Greetings <BR> <BR>Nina

Nina, he's probably been ultra busy working, but that would cool.

Funny... I have always been curious to see how Roland Emmerich would do directing a romantic comedy. Now I am really curious to see how this film turns out.

Judging from his past successes, and from what I've seen, Roland Emmerich puts his all into directing and is admired for that. It should be interesting.

Just a pity that Gillian Anderson doesn´t star in the movie.Does somebody know, if the scipt is written for a special actor or actress in the leading role ? Or is Ron Bass just working on it without reflecting the characters on special actors. I have seen Mr. Emmerich at some festival with Gillian Anderson and I think she would suit very well for a cyberspace lovestory with her background at "x-files" . <BR>Hey, please invite Mr.Ron Bass to the message board ! We could cyber away a little with him about the theme of cyber-love. I am really interested on how he will write this script, what inspires him ect.. <BR> <BR>Greetings <BR> <BR>a not very cyber <BR>but cyberwriting on cyberdiskussions <BR>phantasyfilm directrice

I recently saw that Ronald Bass also wrote the script for " MY best friend ´s wedding " with Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz. The film was on TV in Europe and I found it very funny, excellently written and humourus ! So I guess nothing can go wrong with this new film called <BR>" Cyber-love-story " with such an excellent writer ! Compliments ! Would you make an internet writing course with us here ? Twinkle . I have to polish my English. And don´t say : " Your English is Polish enough !" <BR> <BR>Greetings <BR> <BR>Nina

I agree with U -2 Nina, CLS should be very good. A good writer is imperative to a good movie. We all know what good writers Dean and Roland are. Just saw The Glass House, now that one had quite a writer, it was very much a thriller and saw that Patriot boy Trevor Morgan again. A good job he did. Both Trevor and the writer! My Best Friends wedding was really good too. Matter of fact, just about anything I see Julia R. in is really good. Only one thing though, in Oceans Eleven I think she had that lip treatment. What is it collagen or something????? Well in my very humble opinion, she should not have done that. I like her probably any way she looks, but her lips were quite lickable before, so she just as well should have left well enough alone.

Is there any information about the new movie, who will star in it ? <BR>Young upcoming talents like Penelope Cruz would be good too. She is so beautiful that one could get a complex, but if Roland and Dean don ´t catch her for a film , I will, when my script is ready... I hope for her interest in Independent films from Europe. <BR>Anyone some info about the castings or is it too soon for that ? <BR> <BR> <BR>Greetings <BR> <BR>Nina

Yes, I think it's too soon for that. As far as I know, "Cellular" is still the next project on Mr. D's plate, plus they are finishing up and prepping "Eight Legged Freaks" [ugh], so I'd imagine CLS is at least another year or so away from any sort of casting and pre-production...
