In a word: &#91;b&#93;WOW!&#91;/b&#93; Things I was impresased with: Most everything. I&#39;d talk about everything I liked, but by the time I was done, I&#39;d be COAL. <IMG SRC="http://www.electric-ent.com/bbs/clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":&#41;"> Things I would have liked to see done slightly differently: The armour. Specifically, Gimli and Frodo&#39;s armour. Gimli&#39;s helm just looked... CLUNKY and frodo&#39;s byrnie just didn&#39;t look like maille to me. The Nazgul. Maybe bits of CGI smoke and bits of cloak drifting away from their persons and dissapating? I had to work hard to think of NEGATIVE comments about This one. Too often recently, I&#39;ve seen Movies that claimed to be masterpieces, only to falter badly when seen. This one far, FAR exceeds it&#39;s publicity and my expectations. My rating? Twelve out of Six Stars. &#42;&#42;&#42;&#42;&#42;&#42;&#42;&#42;&#42;& #42;&#42;&#42;

Ohh Ohhh No potty break fer me!!! I made the whole 3 hours &#40; Our whole School went&#41; and while I can pick apart the FX &#40; not &#34;THE&#34; FX&#41; over all it was pretty good Starr

Mebbe I can shed some light on this: Strange thing: In the original English version &#40;both the book and the movie&#41; it&#39;s the &#34;Elves&#34;. In the &#40;crappy&#41; German translation, it&#39;s &#34;Elben&#34;, which is rather confusing because there&#39;s also &#34;Elfen&#34; in fantasy stories here. So at first everybody thought there&#39;s &#34;Elben&#34; and &#34;Elfen&#34;, like Arwen is an &#34;Elf&#34;, and the other&#39;s are &#34;Elben&#34;... or something like that... really confusing... Also, the German word for 11 &#40;eleven&#41; is &#34;Elf&#34;... And guess what&#39;s the river called that runs through Hamburg? ... &#34;Elbe&#34;... :-&#93; &#40;Lil&#39; side note: I really loved the movie... thinking about watching it a third time... also reading the book now... :-&#41; &#41;

Thanks Auric, haven&#39;t seen it yet, but it looks like a go for the next week. <IMG SRC="http://www.electric-ent.com/bbs/clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":&#41;"> Well I did see Ocean&#39;s &#34;Elf&#34; which was good. While you&#39;re translating, tell me what does Welkom bij mean? oooooohhhhhh. Rings I&#39;m sure I&#39;ll enjoy. I believe it was Muhammad Ali who said &#34;The man who has no imagination has no wings&#34;. Auric, have you ever skied down the Elbe??? If I ever go to Germany, I want to see the Stubben showroom/factory! They make some mighty fine saddles and tack.

err... hehe... &#34;Ocean&#39;s Eleven&#34; was named &#34;Ocean&#39;s Eleven&#34; here, too... they&#39;ve become lazy I think... they usually don&#39;t translate the titles anymore... <IMG SRC="http://www.electric-ent.com/bbs/clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":&#41;"> But what about &#34;Ocean&#39;s Elven&#34;? Anyone heard about that new fantasy film? ;o&#41; &#34;Welkom bij&#34;?? Don&#39;t think that&#39;s German... or if it is, it must be a really strange dialect... ;&#41; Sounds a little bit like &#34;Welcome beach&#34; to me, which doesn&#39;t make too much sense either... Hmm... I never skied down the Elbe. Never skied ever actually... Not sure what you mean with that &#34;Stubben showroom/factory&#34;... :-&#93;

Excellent craftsmanship!! Before L.oftheR. and The War, I believe it was Elijah Wood who was in one called Paradise with Don Johnson filmed near here at a place we refer to as &#34;the end of the world&#34; Rockville. The little church is where my litl-un was Baptised. The children in Paradise used to play frisbee in the side yard singing &#34;Edelweiss&#34; JK, but they did play frisbee.
