Col. Martin, Col. Moore, Col. Mel does play the good soldier. An excellent movie and what a tribute to the Vietnam soldiers. Truly, any war is Hell and We Were Soldiers portrayed it as well as any. It emphasized how much we should give our thanks to those fighting and just doing their jobs to help preserve the freedoms we have. The Broken Arrow period was a horribly graphic atrocity in that battle, and emphasized the need for preparedness. I now more fully understand why my Uncle Adrian could sleep with his eyes wide open when he returned from Vietnam.
