Production Questions Ibd ask for Devlin but I think I know the answer

So what HAS happened to the Mechwarrior movie we heard about two years ago? It seems like the Dean Devlin and all news about it has fallen into a black hole or something. By now after two years, production should be underway, and being that most of it seemed like it would be CG, its not like you'll need to worry about shots in different countries unless you wanna use them for backgrounds. I would understand if maybe you people at EE were keeping it under wraps, but I've heard nothing about it, not even in upcoming movie-lists that go as far as six months ahead. So what has happened? Has production stalled? Has the movie been cancelled? Or is production still steaming ahead with a great Mechwarrior movie just out of sight? I know that you guys must be involved in the upcoming FLYBOYS movie, but as an avid Battletech reader and Mechwarrior gamer, I'd really like to know if the Mechwarrior movie is a go or not. Waiting for it is like Chinese water torture.

There's a HUGE difference between "obtaining the movie rights" to something, and actually "producing a movie based upon". <BR> <BR>All that has officially happened so far, was the movie rights were obtained.

I would make a mechwarrior miniseries or a series on SiFi like the miniseries The Triangle.
