Please give us some glimmer of hope that there may be the chance of a sequel to ID4. Is there anything that you can tell us about this being possible?

I also just wish that you and Roland had been able to give us all the other two films in your Stargate trilogy.

Thanks,

Justin

the fate of ID4 is in the hands of Fox, not Mr. D...

If there ever is a sequel to ID4, I do hope that Dean and Roland are at the helm.

IMO, that one was their best work.
No one else could do it justice.

I know of someone who has a GREAT idea too, for a sequel. Lee, you should speak up. ;-)

Dean, I have to ask..., will you take a look at the trailer from my independent feature length action film that I shot on 16mm for $15k. It's only 2 minutes and it's www.ifilm.com under action. The title of the film is "Crimson".

Another ID4 would be great!

Thanks
Dempsey Tillman

Why do sharks follow ships at sea?
Let me answer that question for you and I can give you some kickass plots for not 1, but 2 sequels to Independence Day that'll have the original cast members needing a cigarette after reading (even if they don't smoke). I have thought about them for years, what I would do if... I have some REALLY interesting twists and an ending for the first sequel that will thrill and fulfill as it leaves you hanging for what else is shown to be heading "this" way...
lthgrfx1@hotmail.com is my preferred box if you'd care to give me just 5 minutes of your time (by the way, was I the only guy that saw "Art Dept." written on the bottom of the garbage can Jeff Goldblums character knocked over at Area 51?).
MKWalker

You've said you have some kick-ass plots, and that's great. But it's much better if you write those down, create a script, and sell them yourself.

I'm not saying that Dean wouldn't appreciate your ideas, since there are a few in the Inner Circle of this business that make a good living writing and selling storylines, but they are in the Inner Circle.

There is a great pitch market in Hollywood, but producers always ask YOU to write the script. This is because they are too busy with the business of filmmaking to write your script for you. There are a few highly respected organisations that will work with you to put your idea into script form, and help you market it, but be aware that the cost is between 64 and 88 thousand dollars.

So, it's much, much cheaper to study screenwriting under someone like John Truby, write your script, then if it is consistent with the quality and type of film produced by Centropia or Electric Entertainment, then go ahead and send them a letter asking if they would be interested in reading it.

Make sure it's an original story and not written as a sequel to a franchise. If they like it and feel that it could be turned into a sequel episode, they will ask you and you'll get your chance to voice your ideas as they help you make the appropriate changes. They have the inside track on the characters and where they want the story path to lead to.

Hi, a buddy of mine name of Daniel (Dan)I. Radakovich has a really cool prop if you want to do another Librarian--giant carved stone hand(of Buddha?). He has been generous before re. loaning stuff out-donated an acting wardrobe to Point Park University in Pittsburgh for use in low/no budget filming. He's in LA unitl 9/10/05 if you know someone there who might want to contact him re. it...his email is daniradakovich@yahoo.com, dunno his phone out there. Interesting fellow whose own history might make a good movie...and one of the best historians around...if he didn't wargame so much.

Yrs,
[mr] Jan Lennartsen
