Dean,

I just watched Godzilla over the weekend, and I still really like your take on the Big G. I'm a big fan of your redesign, and the effects that were done by Centropolis are still some of the best character animation that's been done.
I realize that Roland and you are very busy with Cyber Love Story, and that you guys do not plan to do the sequel to Godzilla, but will there be one? I remember reading something from a studio exec. at Columbia saying that anytime a movie makes $400 million dollars you make a sequel, period. Any progress on the film that you know about and can share?

As always, thanks, and I look forward to all your new projects.

Justin

In that case, Fungus, you already know my response to your reply, so I won't rock the bbs with my Fungus-aimed SCHMACK. heeeheeheehee ;-)

Schmack attack's on now. What's the progress on Arac Attack? Will they begin Cyber Love Story while Arac's still in the works?

I wouldn't hold my breath on godzilla II.
Since G2000 didn't even make a profit, I'll bet Sony lets their G agreement lapse. The qoute you used was from Amy Pascal, and I don't even think she's in the same position at Sony anymore. They have had a string of flops(actually since thsy started) and that usually DOESN'T mean a big-budget sequel.(Unless CG software becomes so cheap they can do a direct to video sequel)

Thanks Craig. I'll bet your right about Amy Pascal and Sony.
Still I'd love to see Roland and Dean's big G come back to the silver screen, and a direct to vid. sequel wouldn't do the film justice. I'd rather they let the big guy stay down.

I'm with ya Justin. G98 had much potential.
