Dean,

I know that most of us wish that you and Roland were jumping right into the ID4 sequel, but Roland has his flick at Fox next. What about your 'The Carrier' movie? Will you still be getting that before cameras this summer? I hope so, although it would be weird to have Devlin and Roland films out in a summer and not have them be a film you both worked on. Looks like it could be double the fun for us moviegoers.
Just curious. I'll be there for Eight Legged Freaks opening weekend!

We're hoping to shoot THE CARRIER this winter for Paramount and CELLULAR for New Line this fall. I don't know yet, when they'll be released.

-Dean Devlin

Psssst... Hey Dean, I know a *perfect* leading man for CELLULAR. Is there a height limit for the role? [grin]

Well, they're shooting Carrier in the winter, which should give me plenty of time on Billy Jack. Actually though, I'm playing his younger brother, Billy Jim, and I get beat up early in the film (hence the motivation for Billy Jack to return to action).

There's plenty of water around here! And eager extras too! I'm in!
Michael, Billy Jack was great! I really like that movie. at Fungus! Grilled some fresh corn in this shucks this evening! Yum, peel it down and you have your handle. My GrandPop always told me thats why he lived such a long and healthy life. Good Indian food, corn and fish. I've always tried to listen to my elders, *most* of the time.
Apparently Danny DiVito is doing it in Australia. I don't mean that Dan is playing BJ. That would be tooo weird.

I'd end up with roles as a Native-American version of a David Spade lookalike.

Billy-Jim... just shoot me!

Billy Jack? Billy Jim? What's this all about? ;-)

Mike, my wife calls me that F word a lot too...can't understand why. ;)

Tina, Billy Jack is a movie about a Native-American Indian who had to deal with prejudices. I haven't seen it in a long time, but if one didn't feel for those children and their tribulations, something was wrong. I liked the movie very much. I think the Billy Jim was one of Fungus' funnies.

Speaking of The Carrier, there's about 4 boats and 25 planes close to here which probably would do quite nicely. I happened to notice in a state publication put out by S.C.'s Parks, Recreation, and Tourism a mention of scenes from The Patriot being filmed at Middleton Gardens. Now here's some potential future advertising for your "Carrier"! Had some weird "Signs" that happened to me today...went to Chas. to pick up some freight (siding for the house) well, for some odd reason, they included 6 DECK MOPS. For what reason, I don't know other than maybe to clean the siding after installation. So Jag, if you ever come around here, I got your mop!
Will, she calls you fungus??

You may be wrong. She may think of you as a disco for mushrooms... a "Fun-Gi"

Uh, Florida...Home of heattolerant sheep, four major stations for aircraft, aircraft carriers and of course, the Blue Angels...

Perfect for the Carrier-DEAN!

Chris
The Florida Film Fox Plant

I've got it! Totally original and unexpected:

Shoot Carrier in...

IDAHO!!! It's perfect! No huge cities to distract you, none of that pesky water getting everything wet, just loads and loads of potatoes! (actually, most idaho potatoes actually come from Oregon, but then, that would ruin my whole joke now wouldn't it? :]

Maybe a little here, a little there. That would be better for advertising anyway. But no matter where its shot, no doubt it will be a great movie. To borrow a phrase from Bob Barker, "Come on Down!"
