Dunno.. I find it a bit interesting.. Have caught the TV promos for the flick -- and they seem to be focusing on the "horror" aspect... but the actual movie trailers seem to concentrate on the humor. Weird how the movie can be depicted in two ways.. That's marketing for ya. :o)

While I too, ain't fond of spiders, ELF looks to be one of those movies Dean is fond of.. Ya typical popcorn movie.

-=JAG!

Had a large spider stroll through the front door this morning. I said, "For god's sake, the movie's not even here yet! Get back in the car!

Decided to let him off, so sprayed him with aerosol carpet cleaner. I think it died immediately from embarrassment.

Could've been instant Karma for not wiping his feet before entering.

I've had a few myself recently. Mostly on my computer keyboard...

I sat down after a bathroom trip, and this round thing was just bobbing. It was a daddy longlegs but it had nearly transparent legs! Couldn't see them unless I was at just the right angle.

Another time (more recent) I was typing, then just pulled my hands away from the keyboard and a black spider went running across the wrist rest.

None of them top the giant spider at church though (I think I mentioned it. Huge sucker! about 3-4 inches long bodywise, no clue on it's leg span).

They are just a little "Antzy" for their big coming movie. The little speeders are just nervous, thats all. I am personally teaching my spiders how to tap-dance, sort of a side show for opening night. Right now they are fitting for their little tophats and tuxes. They even have cains!!

Their first goal is to top that Dancing Godzilla screen saver, and then if everything goes right, they will top, HAMSTER-DANCE!!!

Really, I think if I can show people just how talented Spiders are this vale of anti-spider discrimination will be lifted.

Well I guess the time would eventually come. Over the weekend I hinted at mom -- "Hey, want to see Dean's latest movie release this month?"-- she replies.. "The one about the spiders? -- Noooo thanks." -- Guess I'm hitting the theatres alone. :o)

-=JAG!

Ain't nuthin like a nice scream-and-run movie. If you liked 'Tremors' this is it. It's also a no-brainer, but how much brain do you need to enjoy a Mr. D. freak-show. I'm there man!

"Have you hugged YOUR spider today?"

1 out of 3 will see the movie.(at least at my work )
The first person said "Looks cool!" second person said "Looks stupid, not if you paid me!" and the third person said "Over my dead body!"
I pounded on a spider this morning who mistakenly thought my apartment was a good place to wait out the heat wave.I knew I would get good use out of my new shoes.
I'm gonna put a nice frame around IT!,to warn off any friends he might have.
Peace!
