What can I say? This is an excellent sequel!! Plus, it looked great on HD TV! :D

Beautiful cinematography, awesome score, great writing, including the plot twist towards the end. Jonathan Frakes as usual does a superb job with direction.

Dean, we've known it all along but it must be said -- time for your weekly ego boost -- You're a genius! Great entertainment -- I especially liked the hint of "Electric Entertainment" when our hero passes out and appears on the beach. Finding King Solomon's mine on the map and being thankful for clarinet lessons was also a nice touch since I love music.

I'm not going to give much away as I don't want to spoil it for anyone that's not seen it.

I think it's time we made this into a "big screen" production. And if not, just say when and I'll park myself in front of the TV for the next installment. :D

Dean, kudos to you and everyone involved in this project. What a wonderful way to spend a sunday night. Thanks!

JAG, you rock. Thank you, everyone, for supporting the film and continuing to support us here at Electric Entertainment. I can't begin to tell you how much it means to us that you guys are still here!

I keep forgetting Canadians and others have to wait. Sorry for spreadin' my enjoyment when you can't share it with me. But there's one consolation -- when it does air in your neighborhood, I think you'll find it was worth the wait.

I think Jag, Rick, Jen and myself are the only americans who frequent this board. Jen and Rick haven't posted in awhile, leaving only Jag and myself, and I just don't watch that much television anymore (I really had to force myself to watch "The Triangle", not for the show itself, but just getting it into my head to remember to watch it!)

I saw a couple of commercials for this movie (The Librarian sequel) but thought it was on later, didn't realize it was on already. Sorry :(

Don't feel bad, Fungi -- I almost missed the premiere myself. So happens I checked my EE.org email the day before for kicks and a nice reminder email was waiting.

And a big thanks to Auric for posting this thread to keep me reminded on Sunday.

Dean --

Will "The Librarian" sequel's soundtrack be released anytime soon? I wouldn't mind adding a couple of tracks to my radio station. Joseph LoDuca really kicked it with the score.

Also without giving too much away, nice to see "Noah Wyle" in a Producer credit.

Could someone, please, update me on recent EE productions available on DVD? I think they have different titles when available here, and I think there was a thread about this recently, but I can't really remember...

Thanks a lot in advance!

The Librarian: Quest for the Spear has appeared on DVD in Germany under the title The Quest - Jagd nach dem Speer des Schicksals. It was shown by RTL on German TV in May 2005.

As far as I know The Triangle has not yet appeared on DVD in Germany. It is only available as an import from the UK for example.

When in doubt, Trina, check the internet movie database (imdb.com) under the original american name. They usually have a listing of alternative names (including foreign country titles). They also have DVD specs (and will tell you if it's not out on DVD yet).

AHEM! :p

Wellll.. Truth told.. I don't really post much.
But I do occasionally, and check the board at least twice a week.

We caught most of the show, quite by accident. (Mrs. X-Ray & I have Recurring TV Scheduling Amnesia. Forget when stuff's gonna be on!)

We enjoyed it. :)

The Librarian, on TNT, aired again this afternoon and is on the schedule for tonight, too. I'm SO glad I didn't totally miss it. Really liked the first one. Anyway, thanks to the 'holics' for the heads up. I do try to check here once daily.

Saw the second Librarian film. It's great entertainment. Again, I enjoyed the casting. Liked "the Librarian's" comedic body language and his fallability. I also appreciated the humor and the increasingly mysterious boss (played by Bob Newhart). Good to know it'll be on DVD.

Hey there, Sheri, Jag. I've been around - working too much and with a serious case of lurk-itis. This website and reading all your posts keeps me smiling.

OK...now that I can read all the threads and post a reply...here is my review...

I liked this one a lot more than the first one. Not sure why. And don't get me wrong, the first one was great too, but I found some of the flying swords and all a bit silly at first...I suppose on the second one I was more prepaired for all that, so it didn't bother me that much. Flying swords are the only things I could even begin to complain about. And that is my only complaint.

The movie had a sort of flow to it that almost made it sail by. To me, that is a good thing...no parts that bog down or nothing that doesn't jive with the rest of the film...it had a very pleasant consistancy/flow. I agree too that the cinamatography was stunning. Since it has been a while since I saw the film it is hard to recall everything that I really liked, but certain scenes just stuck out, not for anything spectacular....they weren't even necessarily needed for the plot to work or anything it seemed, but their presence was nice...the scene where the Librarian(boy do I suck with names) and his lady "crashed" the outdoor party and danced a bit...it was just a neat scene. I am sure there are other things that I could say, but like I said, it's been a while since I saw it. :/ It was just a really great film. And it seemed to do pretty well considering how many times it ran...they need to run it again.

I still have to say that one thing that is constant with all the films that Dean Devlin and company are involved in is the family aspect of them...I know that no matter what it is I won't need to worry about any cooties from watching, if you know what I mean. They are just good films in and of themselves...no need for violence, terrible language or any of the other crap others put in their films for shock value.
