You are correct. This is not a very busy BBS. However, it's filled with a core, loyal, and tight group of exceptional humans. It is very nice to count you among them.

hehehe... that's what I thought, too. I was thinking of deleting the thread right away, but then... ;)
I'm quite busy as well. I've been working on a lot of Filmakademie projects recently, and fallen behind to post pictures or anything.
Let me just change the icon of this thread. That mad face makes me... well, ... mad. :)

I mean the real thanksgiving. You know, the one where we give thanks that the Indians didn't fight the Pilgrims too hard?
I mean really, what does Canada have to be thankful for? Moose? http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y9/Biofungus/smilies/transparentraspberry.gif
sheri
10-18-2007, 11:01 PM
Nah, we be thankful for the weather while it is still not yet SNOW.
:P
And we thankful for....hmm......not being Americans? *ducking*
Last time I checked, Canada is part of the "North America" continent. Yer "Americans" whether you like it or not. :P

Then why does the US worry so much about lettin them illegal aliens aka Mexicans in? hehehe!
Although, if that North American Union thang is true, then we all would be North Americans. And our dollar would be the Amero. Based on the strong Canadian dollar, haha!
Pretty sad when I only get 95 cents on the dollar right now. I used to get a buck and a half for each of your dollars! Never dreamed I'd ever see the Canadian dollar worth *more* than the US one!

Officially Canadians are Poms... being a British colony and all. I think it's only George W that thinks Canada is a state of the USA. Maybe his confusion came about because Aussies call Canadians "Aussies with an American Accent". Or maybe he has a fondness for mooses... er, meeses(?) and Maple Syrup. (no one tell him it's Canadian tree blood).
Sheri, should I reveal that Ben and Jerry's and Starbucks are Canadian companies?

hehehehehehehe......
chinaese guy is coming back.
hello, everybody in this forum, i think that the last chinese guy does not have very much time to get online to do something like post or reply thread. because maybe she have two points to amplify her answer.
1) people who can get online to visit english bbs is not a good english men in general, which like me.
2)good english men does not often to visvit english bbs ,which like you.
so maybe ,we should forgive her.
anyway ,thank you very much.

See, your words were fine (we can understand them), it's just that the context can get lost.

I was guessing you mean something like that, just was not quite sure. I think your English is very good, but I'm not a native speaker myself, so I cannot really know all things about it. :) But I think the native speakers usually understand quite well what we want to say, right!? ;)

There's a time stamp above every post, I believe it's California (west coast USA) time, if you want to know what time it is when you post.
To be honest, the American posters on this board are in the minority. Sheri's Canadian (America Junior) :p and our more active regulars (like Trina and Auric) are from Germany.
I so want to visit, Shanghai!!!

All I know about China right now is that they can't paint an original work of art to save their life. They have to keep copying OUR artists and selling the illegal copies dirt cheap on eBay. C'mon, take some PRIDE in yourselves!!!! I don't hold a very high opinion of the country because of that. The way they treat their people, the lack of respect they have for originality. I could go on and on and on. ;-)
