Hey guys!
The animated short film that I have worked on over a period of one year (from August 2006) is finished.
You can download a QuickTime version of the full film (~300 MB in size) at substance.crona.de (http://substance.crona.de). Downloading with a speed of 1 Mbit/sec takes about 45 minutes.
The film's runtime is 8 minutes. The film tells its story without spoken language, so there is no dialogue in it. The end titles are in English.
If you have the latest version of the QuickTime player (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/), you can hit Ctrl+F to view the film in full-screen mode (recommended). :)
The software I used was Side Effects Houdini (http://www.sidefx.com/). The film was animated and rendered in Softimage XSI (http://www.softimage.com/).
Spoiler Alert: Select the following line of text in your browser to read it.
I've done the breaking wall, the collapsing wall and the collapsing ceiling (3 effects shots in total).
Enjoy the film. :)
