Hi you all!

Shortly ago RJS sent out lines from songs with the question, what songs they are from... Anyone remember?

Now I stumbled over a song that kind of fits perfectly to this new community maybe.
The line is:

... together in electric dreams....

From whom is it? Any ideas?

Trina

Electric Dreams was the title of an eighties movie in which a guy named Miles purchased a "Pear" computer to help him mannage his life(he connected the thing to every appliance in his apartment). He spilt his martini on the keyboard, and whola, an Artificial Intelegence was created. ;) The computer, Edgar, fell in love with another tennant in the apartment who lived upstairs from Miles. Miles just happened to take interest in the same woman. She was a chello player, and the comuter wrote her love songs that Miles took the credit for. The computer caught wind of this, and wreacked Miles's apartment before destroying itself....at the end of the film though, the song, Togeather in Electric Dreams, which it was inferred Edgar himslef had created, aired on radios and the such all over town.

The title song, Togeather in Electric Dreams: Giorgio Moroder with Philip Oakley

Produced by Giorgio Moroder

A Virgin Pictures Ltd. Production
Released by Virgin/20th Century Fox. ELECTRIC DREAMS
Starring Lenny Von Dohlen, Virginia Madsen, Maxwell Caulfield and Bud Cort.
Orriginal Story and Screenplay by Rusty Lemorande.
Executive Producer: Richard Branson
Producers: Rusty Lemorande and Larry De Waay
Director: Steve Barron

Wow! Interesting information! So there also is another song "Together in electric dreams", and a movie, too... I did not know that! I was referring to the song by Human League... I don't expect the two being the same, or are they?

Trina
