Hey all!

Inspired by JAG!s original Centro startup logo for Windows I made an Electric startup logo, which can be displayed while booting Windows instead of the original Windows startup screen.

To install the logo, follow these instructions:

1. Download the logo file to your harddisk from:
http://www.stefanhabel.de/electroholics.com/electric.sys
Do not copy and save the preview image above.
2. Copy the logo file to your C: drive and rename it to "logo.sys". If there's already a file named "logo.sys" be sure to make a backup copy of it if you want to keep it to re-install it later.
3. That's it!
Next time you boot you'll see the new logo.

Inside info:
The logo file is actually a 320x400 pixel 256-color bitmap. It contains a 12-color-cycled animation. When booting Windows, the logo is displayed in a 640x400 pixel screen, so it's actually streched. This causes a relatively poor image quality.
The animation contained in the logo is actually supposed to indicate that the system works and loads Windows (->animated bar at the bottom of the screen in the original Windows startup logo). It's however possible to build in user defined animations of any color(s) you like.

Do not open and save the logo file with a graphics program, the animation effect will be gone.

Known issues: Doesn't work with Windows 2000.

If you'd rather like an animated bar or something, drop me a line... ;-)

Have fun!

Feel free to report any bugs and post your comments.
