Just returned from a shoot for Appel Vision. It went well, and in one segment, I did my best to honor The Patriot's "apple scene", where Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger were enjoying their apples at the beach. What a good day, and to top it off, Moon 44 came in the mail today!!!!!!!!

Actually, I HATE mall shopping. I prefer to be nestled in nicely behind my computer, or out in the backyard playing with my horsie. Which, I did all afternoon today.

Good for you!

My "agent" sent me this really cool fish story. Of course, she's not really my agent, but just for fun, she says she's mine, and I tell her I'm hers. She helped me get that last "extra" job with David Flander productions. Dave sort of reminded me of a short version of Roland, ball cap and all! He recently won a Southeastern Region Emmy for a documentary about Phillip Simmons, a local blacksmith/gatemaker, very famous in these parts.. Anyway, my friend is a real sweetie and a videographer, too! She's done some documentaries herself, commercials, and voice over work. She got to go to Cal. one time several years ago when she won a Joan Rivers look-alike contest here. She's much younger of course, but the similarities were there enough for her to win and go to Cal. She opened for Carrot Top once at a local comedy club doing her Joan Rivers thing. Maybe she'll stop in for a visit. C'mon "lurkin' Lanie, please let me share that fish story!

Fungus! I saw Spiderman. My young one and I went to see it last night late. A packed theatre, and it showed in two rooms. You're right, it was great! Wm. sat on my left, and two young (11 or 12) children were sitting on my right. I thought I had developed spidey-sense myself and was "seeing" the movie before it happened. One of them had evidently seen it before, and proceeded to tell his friend EVERYTHING that was about to take place before it happened! I was quite amused.

The whole way home, I chuckled to myself as he did the shfeeeeet, shfeeeet with his hands every which way shooting out his imaginary webs. He said "Man, if I could just have that climbing ability, and run that fast!" I asked him if he liked it even more than The Patriot? He rolled his eyes and said "Dad, I am still just a kid".
"You little traitor" I exclaimed. He laughed.
