Greetings all..
I figured that since January was almost over ALREADY!
Where DID the time go??

I would ask...

Did YOU make a new year's resolution??
(or any sort of agreement/decision like it)
AND
If so are you STILL sticking to it?

Mine wasn't a resolution. Just an "it's time to put a stop to this" thing. (I don't have a scale in my house, and I just happen to be on one when I was visiting my folks over the holidays. The time of year had nothin to do with it.) I'm still on it. Hair's still wet from the pool in fact.

See ya at the gym on Tuesday, Starr!

I resolved not to make any more new year's resolutions. I never keep them. Wow. I feel much better now! It should be a great year! ;)

Wow, where'd this message come from? I saw Tim's post before I knew there was a thread.. Senility setting in..

Lesee.. didn't really make a resolution officially.. but, I have begun something and I ain't letting it go. The makers of Dr. Pepper will be disappointed, but I have curtailed my DP intake big time! I used to guzzle down 3-4 DP's a day.. this went on for a while. Suffice to say my weight increased and my tummy was indicating I was 3 months pregnant.

Alas, no more. This past weekend marks my 4th weekend where I've stuck to drinking water. The only exception is my morning DP! But I make up for it on weekends, where I go DP-less.

It's amazing.. I calculated the average DPs I drank times the calories.. it came up to like 3500 a week! Yikes! I'm down to 750 DP cals a week now.. and I'm thinking of reducing that as well.

I've since grown a hump. :o)

-=JAG!(aka Kamel)

As for resolutions, I did the same that Tim did... no more resolutions, because they are somewhat useless for me...

But maybe I should reconsider trying JAG's...

Great unofficial one Jag!!
I have to agree with Tina as well
although for me it is diet Pepsi so less calories.. BUT it is SO easy to guzzle.

Calories = 0
Total Fat(g)= 0
Sodium (mg) = 25
Total Carbohydrates(g)= 0
Protein (g)= 0
(although I have a hard time believing there is nothing to it.)

I am beginning to wonder if it is the caffine I am addicted to in it..

Ohh Hey Jag.. if anyone asks you when your due?
Just tell them your having a baby elephant and offer to show them his trunk *giggles*

That should shut them up real fast..
OR you might get a wild night outta the deal
>;)

See ya at the Gym this afternoon Sher

In more ways than one... if he shares a little room with a guy named Bubba and has a guy outside in a guards uniform. heheh

The only resolution I have is *not* to share a room with anyone named Bubba. (Unless *she's* Brunette and cute) ;)

We have "Bubbas" in Texas, but as the saying goes.. everything is BIG in Texas.. so it's "BIG BUBBA" here. Double trouble.

Course not many of them left when Texas leads the nation in capital punishment... Eeep!

-=JAG!

Sorta like a 5'6" guy tryin' to pick a fight with a 9ft tall Hell's Angel. The irony not wasted on Big Bubba!!

My resolution for this year is to spend more time on understanding accountancy, project management and media markets. I gotta write a test in these subjects tomorrow, and I will most likely fail, so I'm not getting the pre-diploma in this semester.

boohoooo. :'(

Greetings back Starr. After being called James Madison for the past couple of months by co-workers for letting my hair grow long, one of my resolutions was to get a new hair style by an Oscar winning hair stylist. So far, so good, and we got to talk about Dean and Roland at the same time! Sher and Starr, could you post some pictures?? ;) Fred and Trina, I hope you're right about it being a good year! Good luck Jag, but just think, you're only getting 28 mg. of caffeine with a DP, as opposed to 1oo-200 mg. with Coffee or a No Doz. And next time, just order your pizza with half the cheese. Mike, may all your "bubbettes" come true. LoL at Chris!! Hang in there Stefan, John Wooden once said "It's what you learn after you know it all that counts."

Will, you'll know the down side to having long hair... little old ladies come up behind you saying, "Excuse me, Miss..." heheh
