I hate to flood the place, but this is actually a piece that I started before the other one I posted yesterday. I took a break from this piece and started on the other one, to try to 'refine' some of the technique. Well, after the success of yesterday's image (personally, not on the bbs :] I went ahead and finished this piece. The reason I put the warning is, the piece is religious/spiritual in nature... (I hope the copyright watermark isn't too intrusive) <BR> <BR>This uses pastels and colored pencils. It's 11x14, so I had to stitch it (you can see some slight evidence of that in the red curtain). <BR> <BR><IMG SRC="http://www.electric-ent.com/bbs/messages/19/132.jpg" ALT="image">

That is nice Fungus...at least you got the nails in the right place....a lot of the depictions of the crucifix are not accurate. I think this pic is an example of how that blending could have come in handy..again, let me know if you want the info, and I will try to find the book. It was a book made by prismacolor. It had all sorts of techniques. <BR> <BR>Maurine
