Watched the first 10 minutes preview live on yahoo.com - It looks just awesome - You guys have done an amazing job - It's obvious that a lot of hard work and love and dedication has gone into the production - Congrats to everyone concerned. I feel honoured to have been part of the project.
Kind Regards from sunny Cape Town,
"Beatty"

Well, unfortunately it's been rough with my work schedule to watch but, I was able to catch most of Dec 5th's episode. Couldn't get home fast enough to watch Dec 6th's.

For the most part, what I've seen, I like. The mystery element of the show is superb. The effects are very nice and the cinematography is superbly done.

Perhaps I just need to sit down and really concentrate on watching and get to know the characters but I feel the acting is a bit off. Don't get me wrong, the casting is great, but, I don't know, I'm having a hard time relating to the characters at the moment.

The soundtrack is a bit weak, I think... but again this could also be due to the fact that I'm just not able to enjoy the series.

Don't kill me Dean -- Overall I like the production and the premise. And even though SciFi is kind enough to repeat the showings, unfortunately, their last airing is at 12am and I usually don't get to sit in front of the TV until 1am or so.

I hope SciFi plans to re-air the entire series during a time I can just sit down and absorb the whole series in one take. I'm sure my current observations would change. But all is not lost, should this series be released on DVD, I'd buy it.

-=JAG!
By the way, is it me or does the "Triangle" graphic logo resemble "The Visitor" logo?

Blast from the past time. Hi folks! Long time no see. Missed you guys! Hi Dean! [waves] Glad to hear all is well. I unfortunately missed the TRIANGLE preem, but I will make sure I catch it when it re-airs. I've been wanting to see it since I first heard about it. And hey, I know it's a pipe dream, but I'll throw it out there anyway... I'd still love to see THE VISITOR show up on DVD some day. [grin] Oh, and while I have your ear, next time you see Bryan, tell him don't forget to brighten up the red in post. (He'll understand.) *giggle*

So how's it hangin', Fungus, Jag, et al? I spoke with Sher a few weeks ago - out of the blue. Gotta luv how nuthin' phases that girl. Still working at the comic shop, Fungus? I was thinking of taking a ride up there recently, but the holidaze hit me upside the head before I knew it. Maybe after New Year's. BTW, Earl is moving to Thursday's at 9pm come January. A few networks are jostling their skeds around, especially on Thursday nights. As long as they don't screw around with SMALLVILLE though, I'm good. (Yeah Fungus, I'm still bent over the big picture, but I'll live.)

Anyhoo, I'll send a few folks over here from another board. TRIANGLE came up in conversation tonight, so they might want to leave a few comments in the EE's fish bowl.

Hang tough everybody! :o)

I recorded the whole thing...watched most of it...will watch all of it when done with school this Wednesday.

I posted on the regular boards...cause I never saw this one till Saturday night...and I had looked for it too....

Kept wondering why they hadn't made a seperate section for the "Triangle".

From what I saw I really liked it...I read a lot of books on theoretical physics and string theory, so I liked their use of that info. And I liked the sound track. I liked the movie a lot overal.

I kinda found the sudden surge of not here not there planes and ships, etc, a bit much but felt better when they dissapeared, etc.

I really liked the way they did the beginning credits with the combination of live film, models, CGI, and animation. That was really neat looking.

I actually watched all three nights, first showings each night (ie not the encore presentations).

It wasn't bad, but after it was over, I couldn't help but feel the story could have been done in a 2 hour format (or at most, 4 hours), and didn't really justify a 6 hour mini.

I did get to watch the first night on Sci Fi, found it highly entertaining and enjoyed every bit of it. If I had a bigger TV, I would have felt like I was right there on 10-11 1492!
It was bad hat!! Hope they re-run it some more times. You know, some months ago I could have attended a seminar of sorts with Lou Diamond Phillips but schedules clashed...should have adjusted them. Lisa's still the heartbreaker, huh? You know it Dean! Happy Holidays all.
