~ Hi Sheri: Thanks for visiting http://cyberfoxhaven.net . Glad you found the spider acceptable.(grin). Big anniversary turned out great and Giant Lobster was last seen heading for Quebec and salt water. Have now returned to Tinseland Timeline and locations at So. Cal. 2001~

~ Seems Hiatus, this year, is even slower than glacier movement in Andes. Don't think we'll see any new films out of the pre-production gate till early July which is when SAG and PRODUCERS may have reached some sort of amiable agreement about wages, runaway production to Canada, new media residual payments, everything else being brokered and bandied about .~
~ With price of California utilities now skyrocketing , the $$ 'numbers' at the negotiating table will be duly affected as many out of work actors will be forced to consider more affordable and ,perhaps, cooler living climate arrangements. I mean why pay more to compete and struggle in a gridlocked entertainment capitol that's apparently on the wane or attempting to cull it's herd ? Some talents will leave the ranches and studio worlds of Universal , Warner . Electric , Fox , Newline , MGM, Dreamworks Indies, perhaps settling in Canada and easterly domains .Others will switch on their versatilty modulators and hunker in for the duration or spin off into other Industry related projects and fields as triple digit summer heat bakes the San Fernando Valley floor and LA county freeway system .
Good Grief !!! ~

~ Meanwhile, I did dig (DUG) the theatrical version of STARGATE (Kurt Russell) and do tune into the Richard Dean Anderson commandered version on TV as filmed in BC. Seems they've got something going in that province with Dark Angel and Seven Days . Lone Gunmen was not picked up. ~
~ Hey.Love those cool Douglas Fir -Pine coastal /mountain locations . Writers should consider a stargate at Moosejaw Sask prairie too. ~

~cf-1

Hmmmm! I bet that'll be more than the folks of those provinces would earn over the winter months combined! (They have pretty high unemployment rates)

Way to go! I hope to see more American moviemakers come up here to Canada. (Note: Saskatchewan has darn near every kind of terrain a moviemaker could want....from desert sands in the midwest section of the province, to rolling prairie wheatfields in the south, to dense forest in the north, and even rocky waterfalls in the wayyyyy north. hehehe)

Not for long, Sheri. Charlize Theron, Kevin Bacon and Courteny Love are in Vancouver right now, and Love's hotel room got robbed. They're so pissed at the local police's handling of the situation the producers and crew are saying, "Why the he** should we come film in Vancouver if they're going to act like this?"

and you know, all it takes is one small town to give a country a bad name... 'specially in Hollywood

I agree with you Cyberfox1 that Stargate is excellent! And what has Mili Avital done lately? She was perfect for the part with Spader.
