Upon returning from the video store, my wife came bubbling in about how Stargate was playing on the monitors that hang from the ceiling at the video store. She commented to the guy at the counter about how Stargate was one of hubbys favorite movies and told him it was directed and produced by the same people that did The Patriot. A little debate followed, "No they didn't" "Yes, they did" Upon checking,...sure enough, and the guy agreed he loved them too. The guy stated Stargate was one of the best original, creative movies he's seen (2nd that motion) and Hollywood needs more of those. <BR>She came back with Along came a Spider and (2for1 night) Swordfish. <BR>It was nice to see little Mika Booren (one of the daughters in The Patriot) do such an excellent job in Spider. <BR>Swordfish was good too. Very entertaining and kept you on the edge of your seat. Gabriel(Travolta) played an excellent "Patriot" and who caught Gabriel's line "Soon" which brought to mind Benjamin Martin's "Soon"?

STARGATE RULES!! <BR>Still my fave. (my first) <BR> <BR>I was seriously disappointed in Along Came a Spider. Was Swordfish any good? <BR> <BR>Soon was an ad-lib too! Funny how that works out. Some of the best stuff is a free-for-all. Mucho Coolness. <BR> <BR>I picked up The Visitors (Jean Reno) from netflix. Laughed so hard I about split a seam. The French version, not the Christina Applegate remake... <BR> <BR>Highly recommend it for a laugh fest. <BR>Hugs!
